Ben Seidl is the man behind the stark folk grit of the band Roemer. He is the Old Bear Records artist furthest afield geographically (hailing from Berlin, Germany), yet his heart for that upstream sound is as close to home as any. His new EP, Straight Bars and Guns, is a socially aware lament that showcases his particular skill for cultural observation.
